Real Madrid have been drawn into a relatively easy group in this season’s Champions League. As the 2022-23 season final will be held on 10 June 10, 2023, at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Real Madrid have announced their squad. What surprises everyone is that Iker Bravo‘s and Vinicius Tobías ‘s names are included in the list.

23 of Real Madrid’s 25 slots are filled by first-team stars, leaving out two places available to hand out to youth teamers to gain some experience, and had to decide between defender Vinicius Tobias or forwards Iker Bravo and Noel López. Bravo will wear No. 36 while Tobias will wear No. 37.
Bravo arrived on loan from Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the summer transfer window and is expected to work with Castilla. The 17-year-old is highly regarded within the club, with Los Blancos beating arch-rivals Atletico Madrid to sign him. But now, the young striker finds himself part of Ancelotti‘s Champions League squad.

While he will be a part of Raul Gonzalez’s Castilla outfit, Bravo will hope to get some minutes with the senior team given that there are no backup options in the No. 9 role for Karim Benzema.
Real Madrid have been drawn in Group F of the Champions League and will start their campaign this Tuesday night against Scottish champions Celtic.
