Real Madrid face Juventus in a glamorous pre-season friendly at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Saturday evening.
Real Madrid opened their preparations for the 2022-23 campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Barcelona in El Clasico on July 23 before playing out a 2-2 draw with Club America in their second friendly on Tuesday night.
The game is Real’s last chance to warm up before their season gets underway with a UEFA Super Cup meeting with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Ancelotti said that he will “reduce the workload for the players” in this game, speaking after the 2-2 draw with Club America last time out, as he prepares for the UEFA Super Cup.
Ancelotti is expecting to have Dani Carvajal available for selection against Juventus, with the Spaniard recently absent due to an ankle complaint.
What to expect
It would be interesting to see what Eden Hazard might bring to us after netting in 2-2 friendly draw with Club America while Karim Benzema returned to the scoresheet. The 31-year-old Belgian midfielder Hazard, who struggled for impact at Madrid since his switch from Chelsea in 2019 amid a string of injuries, is fit again and vowed earlier this week to show his best with Los Blancos this season. New signings Antonio Rudiger and Aurelien Tchouameni will both be looking to impress.
Real Madrid have only completed two new signings this summer, bringing in French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco and Antonio Rudiger from Chelsea;

Real Madrid vs Juventus prediction
Both teams will be eager to put on a show in front of their overseas supporters.
That desire, combined with the questionable defending you often see during pre-season, means that goals are looking likely. We expect the pair to share four in total on Sunday.
Prediction: Real Madrid 2-2 Juventus
