Real Madrid are close to sealing an exit for left-back Spanish Miguel Gutierrez. The left-back has always shown different qualities from the rest, which has led him to play a total of ten games with Real Madrid.

What seems clear is that he will not have too many opportunities in Carlo Ancelotti‘s squad. Therefore, as reported by ‘Marca’, the whites are close to reaching an agreement with Girona for his transfer although there had been interest in him from Getafe and Real Betis offering to load him.

It is said that the contract includes a formula very similar to Take Kubo when he was transferred to Real Sociedad, that is, about six million euros, keeping the white team 50% of the rights of the promising side. The deal would include a buyback clause for Los Blancos too, who are keen not to cut ties entirely.

Apparently, Madrid wanted to retain the Spanish defender, renewing his contract until 2024, but, given the more than likely lack of regularity, the merengue team has planned the exit with expectations of a possible return.

According to various reports, the move looks very likely to make room for signing Miguel Gutiérrez.
