Real Madrid are said to be keen on signing Bayer Leverkusen teenage sensation Iker Bravo this summer. Real Madrid will need to have a long-term successor for Karim Benzema, making Iker Bravo a viable candidate.
The reigning La Liga champions are renowned for constantly foraying into markets in Europe and beyond for the most prodigious young prospects. Defensa Central claims that Real Madrid is monitoring Bayer Leverkusen’s Iker Bravo. The young attacker has recently made waves in the youth circuit, and top clubs have taken an interest.

Furthermore, Real Madrid will need to have a long-term successor for Karim Benzema. The French international has been unstoppable in the last few years and has transformed into a talismanic figure for Real Madrid. But Benzema is well into his thirties, making Iker Bravo a viable candidate to succeed him.
Real Madrid have asked about taking Bravo on a season-long loan with the option to buy. He would be registered with Raul’s Castilla team. Atletico Madrid have also approached Bayer this month for the youngster.
Iker Bravo: Real Madrid’s future?
Iker Bravo is considered one of the smartest young Spanish players and is predicted to have a bright future in the sport. Before moving to Leverkusen last year, the 17-year-old attended Barcelona’s renowned La Masia academy for a period of time.
Upon moving to Germany Bravo scored three goals in three games for the Under-17 team of Bayer Leverkusen, and for the Under-19 team, he has seven goals and three assists in just 14 games. He made his senior debut for Die Werkself in October 2021 but has played only two matches.
The Spaniard would probably sign with Real Madrid’s Castilla squad, which is led by legendary striker Raul Gonzalez. Before moving up to the senior team, the 17-year-old might benefit significantly from playing under the former Spanish international.
