Eden Hazard is determined to prove himself and make up for lost time at Real Madrid in 2022/23.
The Belgium international has experienced torrid luck with injuries following his arrival in the Spanish capital from Chelsea three years ago, making just 66 appearances and scoring six goals since then.

However, irrespective of the magnitude of the task ahead for the winger, he still has ambitions to succeed at the Santiago Bernabeu in the coming months. During their title celebrations last month, and he looks in good shape in the preseason.
“I want to show people that I can play in this club,” Hazard, 31, said.
“When we won all those titles I was happy for my teammates, for the club, and the fans.
“But inside, I said to myself, let’s show that I can play and the team can win with me in it!”
Although unlikely to leave Real Madrid this summer, Hazard has still been asked about the possibility of moving to America’s top flight.
The 31-year-old didn’t completely rule out a future MLS transfer but was adamant his focus remains on La Liga.
“I don’t think about that much now, I’m just focused,” Hazard said.
“It’s been three years [which have been] hard for me, so I’m just focused on this season. I still have a contract after two more years, and then we’ll see. In two years I’m going to be 33, so let’s see what can happen.”
